A Special Visit from Andrew Lewin MP at Waterside Academy!

On Friday 14th February, we had the pleasure of welcoming our local Member of Parliament, Andrew Lewin, to Waterside Academy! He was given a lovely tour around our school, where he took note of the fantastic work produced by our hard-working children.

Andrew joined us for our celebration assembly and shared insights about his role as a Member of Parliament, inspiring our students to think about civic engagement. The highlight of the visit was when the children grilled him with questions and offered brilliant suggestions on how to improve our local area.

He also had the honour of assisting Mr Peart in handing out certificates and our coveted Star of the Week wristbands! He was truly impressed by the variety of ways our students demonstrate our Golden Rules every day.
